Follow RAB(EICC) and SA80000 system, develop CSR manual with  company policy and guidelines to define the detail of labor rights and the code of company business ethical conduct.

1. Labor Right
  • (1). Freely Chosen Employment, No forced labor

    • Forced, bonded (including debt bondage), or involuntary labor not be used. Including transferring or receiving persons by means of force
    • Employers and agents may not hold employees to their identification and wages (salary)
    • Workers shall not be required to pay recruitment fees or other related fees for their employment
    • Personnel shall have the right to leave the workplace premises after completing the standard workday, and be free to terminate their employment provided that they give reasonable notice by law to their employer.
  • (2). No Child Labor

    • URT doesn't use labor under 16 years old. (local law: child labor under 15 years old, a young worker under 16 years old)
    • As SA8000 requested, URT doesn't use child labor but still has to define how to help and handle child labor once found, and support children's study.
  • (3). Clear define working time and hours to keep the health and productivity of employees.

    • Define max—working hours per week and per month which follow local laws.
    • Workers shall be allowed at least one day off every seven days.
  • (4). Salary and benefits

    • Salary, include over times pay and all others item, shall follow laws.
    • Deductions from salary as a disciplinary measure shall not be permitted.
  • (5). Humane Treatment, No corporal punishment, No coercion

    • Not allowed for all kinds of inhumane treatment including any corporal punishment, or mental or physical coercion.
    • Set procedures for avoiding and management of sexual harassment, including appeal channel.
    • Assistant for employees on baby care and Breastfeeding room requirement.
  • (6). Non-Discrimination

    • Companies shall not engage in discrimination based on race, color, age, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, ethnicity or national origin, disability, pregnancy, religion, political affiliation, union membership, covered veteran status, protected genetic information or marital status in hiring and employment practices such as wages, promotions, rewards, and access to training.
    • Consider and take care of the software and hardware for disability.
    • Respect different religion believes, help satisfy religious needs.
    • No interference with employee political affiliation.
  • (7). Freedom of Association and joining trade unions of their own choosing

    • Employees can form and join trade unions by law.
    • A company should form a retirement-pay committee and a Benefits committee.


2. Code of Ethical Conduct
  • (1). Business Integrity

    • Define management guidelines to prohibit any and all forms of bribery, corruption, extortion, and embezzlement.
    • Clear declare to customers and suppliers that URT doesn't accept any bribes or other means of obtaining improper advantage.
    • All business dealings should be transparent with laws, improper advantages are not to be promised.
  • (2). Disclosure of Information

    • All kinds of financial information which are defined by laws should disclose in the proper place.
    • All information on environment, safety, and health defined by laws should report and disclose to the related official department.
  • (3). Intellectual Property

    • Transfer of technology and know-how is to be done in a manner that protects intellectual property rights.
    • Define SOP for patent management, including encouragement and application.
    • Define SOP to ask and management of computer software copyright.
    • Customer and supplier information is to be safeguarded with storage and management SOP.
    • Consider and classify all information and document for confidential level.
    • Consider a Non-disclosure agreement with the customer and supplier.
  • (4). Fair Business, Advertising, and Competition

    • Well protect and store for the information of customers and supplier.
    • Not allowed to use cheating or other non-fair business methods to get orders, or contracts.
  • (5). Protection of Identity and Non-Retaliation

    • Ensure the confidentiality, anonymity and protection of whistleblowers.
    • Define guidelines for personal information protection.
    • Define guidelines for the protection and management of the business information of email, documents, personal information, which includes customer, supplier, consumer, employee, and others
    • Setup CEO box, and allow employees can report any issue without fear of retaliation.
    • Request all level managers and supervisors to react and reply to employees' questions or report issues but without jeers and retaliation.
  • (6). Responsibility of International purchasing and dealing

    • All kinds of purchasing, especially international purchasing, should take care the legitimacy and social responsibility.
    • No use of material or minerals which have been boycotted by international consensus which those material and minerals came from no labor rights or conflict zone.


Protection of working environment and employee

URT have running OHSAS 18001 system which fully consider of all working environment of all department.
We check all possible risky periodically , and provide preventive action including training for that.

For different kind of process and working place, we identified necessary protection requirement and training to protect our employee, such like a cleaning process which need exhaust fan, mask , and gloves.

For chemical operation working place, we have measured the working environment for acetone, methyl alcohol, CO2…etc. , and the measured result data were public to all employee.

Practice for evacuation periodically, such like simulation of fire, work with local police and fire department.

Evaluation new machine and new mechanical material before used, put the risky consideration and protection method into the SOP

Provide employee health examination, and in-house registered nurse plan for health course and provide health consultant.
